dseltzer 0 Posted October 28, 2007 Lesa, this is remarkable. Photographically, it's well done, good DoF, sharp focus and I can't imagine the light being any better. Can't see a thing I'd change. My first reaction was, "Wow, a petrified antelope!" Not only does it have antlers, but the end of the horizontal part of the log really looks like a face with the mouth open showing exactly the kind of teeth found in herbivores! I'm so glad you happened on this scene and saw the shot. Congratulations, David. Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted October 29, 2007 Lesa, this is a unique find done by nature. It is realy your nice observation to spote it and photograph it the way you did. the light and shallow BG are very nice. I would have maybe cropped a bit the upper part to bring closer the natural statue, but as is,it is very nice . Link to comment
