sonneland 0 Posted October 12, 2007 Welcome back , hope you had a good time and was not to hot. If this image had a bit of blue sky it would be fantastic, come to think of it, is already a pretty nice image sky or no sky. I knew a series of little lakes very similiar in Oregon when I was growing up. Are the foxes there also? I can't remember if we had foxes in Oregon or not. I do remember the coyotes howling all night, do you have them there also? Life is very good here, glad your back. What did you think of the second Arum I put up for critque? I only have a few more images in mind before the series is finished. I am actually thinking of doing a small exhibition on just them. Which is sort of funny as I said never again to exhibitions after my last one. I have now well over 3000 frames on just the arums from this shoot. I guess you would have to find one or two nice ones out of that many shots. It just this second dawned on me why I like your last images so well. Its the colors We have no fall colors here and I think I really miss them sometimes. I have been out of the Northern hemisphere for a long time now, but I still feel funny swimming on Christmas. All the best my friend.....roger Link to comment
bertr 0 Posted October 12, 2007 ...thanks for your kind comments. Unfortunately, when this picture was taken, there was a slight drizzle coming from a totally clouded sky. To get a blue sky in there, which I agree would be a considerable improvement, I will have to learn PS.....Bert Link to comment
hjoseph7 1,518 Posted October 12, 2007 Bert, a blue sky would look artificial on this one, because the blue would have to be reflected in the water. Nice shot, I like it ! Link to comment
