I don't know what to say, you could cut the irony here with a knife. Noticed the church windows. A faint glow coming from within. Perhaps they're playing BINGO. (sorry for the sarcasm, it's been one of those days).

I hate it when you don't know what to say. You are, after all, the supreme commander of the witty and right to the point one sentence commentary band of guerrilla fighters. LOL I actually colored the windows, and then took the saturation way down so the color may very well be missed altogether. It is quite faint on my screen. I didn't want it to be one of those overdone images with desaturation and one os so items given bright color. On the other hand, I did want the windows to stand out as they are kind of the heart of the image in my mind and a counterpoint to the stones, the trees and the garish sign.

A paean to the evolved state of American civilization. Perhaps a soft golden light reflected in the windows would be appropriate as well - LOL! Good use of subtle color there. Nice presentation. Alternative title: Billboard Values.

Thanks for the comment. You know I kind of fancy myself a fair title maker, but you hit me twice with good ones. Besides your suggested, "A paean to the evolved state of American civilization" would make a damn good one too.

funny how the prolifers are the first ones to uphold the death penalty, or hang their savior on the cross. i like the color on the windows, nice and subtle.

I like the message and content...a very original and creative idea to let whispering colors on the windows only (I am usually not a big fan of partial colors but I think it is nice here)...since the message (from the sign) is quite strong I find it particularly interesting to let softly whispering colors on the window put some light and softness in contrast to an otherwise very agressive and obstrusive way of bringing a message that cannot be discussed at all with the prolife people (I am not sure if I am clear here)...

Thanks for your thoughts. As I said, I'm not partial to partly colored images either. I tried to be subtle with this. In opposition to subtlety is the sign. It is intended to hit you on the head.

a great photo. I noticed the coloured windows almost right away, and like this treatment..contrasting the B&W photo. The sign makes I wonder what life is Prolife for. Cheers, Micheal

You definitely are one of the sharpest eyes on Pnet. Virtually nobody noticed what was going on with the windows. But you always see those little details.
