Your title cracked me up. That poor chair has had a long, sorry life. And I see one shoe lying behind it. Now the shoe, if that's what it is--there's the mystery. Great photo!

These three latest pictures all have a vitality and depth to them that seems to signal a creative breakthrough. It will be interesting to see if subsequent pictures bear out my observation. Now forget what I just said and keep coming with the pictures.

Thanks Michael, David, Emmanuel, Linda, Pnina, Jeff, Jack and Amal for your comment and thoughts...I have taken the three images this summer on nearby backstreets of the old city quarter in Palma/Mallorca Island/Spain...late afternoon light in the shadow of narow streets...I am a fan of this kind of light....

Jack, I did not really understand but I'll take it as a compliment and move on as you say and do yourself...due to the limited time I have to invest in this hobby, I shoot and sort it out later...sometimes I learn something....

Hi Laurent, First of all, let me thank you very much for your most kind comments on my latest photos of China. About the red one, of course I take your comment with great interest and attention. This is why I am here, to get critical views (positive or negative, yet constructive) on what I do. Moving on to your comment, looking at the photo again, I think you are quite right. I think the crop does not give the image I wanted. What I had in mind was an uniform plan of red laque only "disturbed" by a small detail. Maybe I have to try a different crop.

Thank you very much for your attentiona nd support.

By the way, I love this one of yours, great composition.

Best regards, Joao
