edith_frederick 0 Posted September 6, 2007 Ellen, your captivating macro image reveals the Ladybug / Ladybird as magically as they are seen in nature -- and seldom so well captured in photographs. Dare I ask, was it you or the Lady that selected this ruffled Peony throat setting? In either case the juxtaposition adds a resonant fleeting-time dimension to a colorist vision. I wish the edge of the Lady-touching petals were a little sharper, but 7/7! Link to comment
jeverz 0 Posted September 6, 2007 Thanks Edith for your comment,it was me who selected the flower. In fact i specially bought it for the photo :) Lady-bugs normally sit on green petals, sometimes i see them on hortensias or roses . Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted September 6, 2007 Hi Ellen - today you left a lovely comment on one of my photos (Gabe) so I clicked on your name to see what you've been up to. What a surprise for me to see such a fantastic collection of lady bugs! They were my Mom's absolute favorite creature. Thanks for brining her back to me, even for a few moments. Link to comment
