katzpjs 50 Posted September 5, 2007 I've never seen the movie, "Twins" but know the premise of it. Your subject title adds character to the image and makes it worthy. Looks like 1950s California colors to me. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted September 5, 2007 it seems growth has not been the same then....a funny capture and title David... Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted September 5, 2007 I haven't seen it either. I was just driving by and saw the matching paint job, and thought it was kind of funny. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted September 5, 2007 Well, since they were separated at birth, maybe one received better nutrition than the other. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted September 6, 2007 don't you know?...that's actually before and after. The little bud on the left is when it comes fresh out of the factory. The big truck is what happens to it during the shipping. It's the salty air and sun. I know for a fact they put yeast in the frame. It takes a while for the truck to make it across the ocean, so during the time it leavens. Maybe they even add V8, 'cause it's written on the truck. Funny photo, Dave. That little one is actually allowed to ride on normal streets? Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted September 6, 2007 ... yeast & V8!!! That would help to describe the "new car smell" when they are first purchased. WOW! Thanks for the info... Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted September 6, 2007 There you go getting all nuts on me again. And now you got Shawn believing in your BS. Shame on you. I like your explanation though. Some folks I know have just about that sound a basis in reality. (That may include me) Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted September 6, 2007 And I always thought that new car smell was some sort of a male sex pheromone that a scientist developed in the fifties. Yeast and V8? Please tell me it ain't so. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted September 6, 2007 Thanks. Your frequent visits to my portfolio are truly appreciated. Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 7, 2007 The color is the story here, at least that's what draws my attentio. There is a wonderful correspondence and relationship between the pastels, accented by the tail light. I think the composition and colors trump the story in this case. It's also a little too sharp for my taste, maybe it could be softened just a bit. (but sharpening is one of my pet peeves, I don't like to see any aura at all which is why I don't like TV LCD screens, too sharp for my old eyes, so take what I say with a grain of salt) Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted September 7, 2007 Well at your age, people get crotchety. LOL Yes, the color is basically the reason I was attracted. As far as sharpening, I do have a tendency to overdo (along with saturation). Link to comment
