frits_nieuwenburg 0 Posted October 2, 2007 Than this is a Swallowtail (Papilio machaon) (Linnaeus, 1758) (grin) (Probably even two) I love the way you are thinking Dave, and succeeding in creating something worthwhile of a moment missed. By overdoing these colours it gets an aquarium look quality and an intensity witch make people think of what they are looking at, and thus succeeding in capturing the audience. And that's precisely what all great photographers do. Love it. GreetzZzz, Frits Nieuwenburg The Netherlands Link to comment
shots worth sharing 1 Posted October 2, 2007 Yes, two swallowtails. At that sun-drenched time of year (and time of day), they don't sit still like nice models. Nor should they--they're butterflies, after all. Link to comment
