alight 0 Posted August 14, 2007 very interesting photo, Dave. Even the tree collaborates with the falling-appart house. And it also seems to be the only tree around. What kind of dance is it? Twist? Tango? How was (or is) living on such a large plain? When the winds start blowing, especially in winter, it must be tough. Nice colours and good exposure. What just came to my head - it would be really cool to have a toddler there, wading through the grass towards the camera, laughing and having his arms up as in coming for a hug. That would make it a great symbolic beginning-end image. All right, here is another gulp of V8... Micheal Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted August 14, 2007 Jeez, man, you are on a roll today. I love your idea! Or maybe a little new modern playground type setup. What a fabulous juxtaposition. I suspect at the time this place was built life was hard and short. Miles to a neighbor's house, limited social activities, medicine and medical help must have been non existent. These were tough s.o.b.s. Link to comment
alight 0 Posted August 14, 2007 I'm glad you love my idea. All you need to do now is to rent a kid a shoot it. Your idea with the playground is good, too, but wouldn't be too original, as you allready have the schoolhouse with the m-g-r. You'll win something, I'm sure. If not, I'll send you a case of V8. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
khataw 0 Posted September 7, 2007 David, beautiful image. I like the composition and the ruined house. Makes you think what's around. Best Regards Link to comment
