Should I waited for sun to move up, so that it was centered above

tidal island?

as is, the composition makes me think about my life, and life of mankind.

Men change little. Our characters are trapped to small islands in

another dimension. Oblivious to its boundaries, we live from til the

end with little change in our islands. Unable to change, our character

is reason for our success and our failures as well.

I like it, and I love your comment regarding the meaning of how you see it what you captured in this photograph. Congratulations Mehmet.

Buddhist's meditate on the reality of anicca (Pali), the doctrine of impermanence, one of the basic characteristics of all existence. If one looks deeply into the nature of everything one finds the reality of anicca, impermanace. Permanace is an illusion, even with regards to man's character. Also, all is interconnected, i.e., "no man is an island" - John Donne. Great photo but the philosophy behind it is illusionary.

Excellent image, Mehmet! I like the position of the sun as it is. It makes a delicate balance in the image.....

Alan, I am not familiar with Buddhist teachings. It seems that the idea of everything moving one state to another seems acceptable. Yet, my views expressed above cannot be considered completely illusory within this framework, if they interpreted as referring to any given state rather than the larger scheme. In other words, I conjecture that there is permanence within each state, but the being (here this term means more than human, you may prefer existence) is not stuck in one state, hence impermanence of states.
