lbattjes 0 Posted August 2, 2007 Looks like dappled sunlight through a leafy tree...am I right? Interesting choice of tones...why did you choose sepia? Just curious...I like it, but wonder what made you think to go that way. what is that behind the knife? Is it leaf lettuce? That's my only nitpick with this is that I see something I can't identify. Otherwise I really like this! Nice job, Bente. Leslie Link to comment
home page1 0 Posted August 6, 2007 Another lovely still life with the very appealing sepia tones. Once again, nice shadows and light. Link to comment

bentes_world 0 Posted August 22, 2007 Kenrick ... thanks for your nice comment. Ken ... thanks for stopping here to comment and glad you like it (-: Les ... "Looks like dappled sunlight through a leafy tree" and you are so right. there is a tree right outside 'my window' and the day I made this serie ( there are many more)it was quite windy so the light/shaddow was moving all over the scenery and I took advance of that - I think. Was funny to make and to see how different they came out because of the light play. The sepia .. I have a great weakness for sepia and no phot get's through without making a sepia version. Here I thought it looked quite well. Really glad you like it. You are right about the leaf and in the color version it's more easy to see. Brad ... a comment from you always means a lot to me so thank you very much for commenting my lemons here. Link to comment
