Geez, I hope some REALLY hungry guy who is not that great at spelling does not wander into this place and make a scene. Reminds me of a story a basketball buddy told years ago how he was standing at a line in a restaurant and the guy behind him got shot dead. "That must have been horrible," I recall saying". "Well, it would have been even worse", he said with a straight face, "but I had already placed my order." I wondered--not aloud, of course--whether he was afraid the unfortunate guy was gonna end up on the menu. Ghoulish thoughts inspired by a ghoulish sign in front of an otherwise quaint, and need I say, peaceful image. Oddly, though, if death is this peaceful, perhaps we should all quit pushing it back so violently by living so low on the proverbial hog.

I second Emmanuel's comments. I wouldn't want to see that eatery. The building, partially eaten by the vegetation is adding the appropriate mood to the sign. What did you have there, Dave? :-D Cheers, Micheal

Thanks, guys. Actually the house is empty and rotting, and you can imagine the cemetery is not too well kempt either based on the sign. Another couple of years, and I reckon the house will have been taken over by the vegetation. As for the cemetery.... well we know what goes on there. Don't we?

If my memory serves me correctly, this was in Arkansas. So you are about right. The house looks to me as if it was not inhabited.
