Beautiful work. The angle and framing are terrific. I liked the image immediately. However I'm not sure how I feel about her fingers being visible where they are... I find it breaks the continuity, the smooth lines and natural curves of her body and draws unnecessary attention to a specific area of her body...

You've achieved the difficult task of doing something original with a subject that has been used many times. Congrats. I do agree with Paul thoug, those fingers shouldn't be there.

Thank you everybody for your comments.
Regarding the fingers - their placement is intentional; I perceive it as a dot that the exclamation mark may not be complete without.

Love the image as a whole, but the shadow area (arm?) in the bottom left is a bit distracting. The fingers, however, are great. They add just the right amount of interest.

Great shot.

I would politely say that I do not like it. the female figure is so absolutely beautiful when looked at from normal angles and this is too much of a distortion for me. It may say something to other people, and may have been intended as something, but for me it is a distortion of the wonderful shapes and curves that are normally seen.

Michael....from a personal, female point of view, I don't care for this much distortion done on the female body. As photographers we all strive to be unique and original and when I look at this image it just looks like an attempt that went too far. Technically this is a well done image and I can certainly see that you have a lot of talent, I commend you for that. This forum is full of differing opinions and now you've heard mine. Thanks!

I like your work Michael and this photo to,but this perspective isn`t original to me remind me on Helmut Newton "Big Nudes" serie!

I agree with Michael. I think it would be a much lesser image without the fingers. They are a small but really significant focal point. As always, Michael has come up with yet another striking, beautiful, erotic, original image.

One...two...three fingures each one of them made me think...once...twice...three times, I like this picture for the angle and the composition, and I'm sorry kevin kolosky , I do'nt agree with you, this point of catching the photo does'nt make the photo less interesting, but completely the opposite, we need to look different to make something new from another perspective, It's good to be a frog sometimes, you'd see a completely different world.

a controversial point of view- and wonderful in its unique approach. may or may not be attractive- but definitely a first (to me)

This is an excellent creative use of angles etc.. as stated above. I cannot believe someone gave it a 2 2 rating because although it is a nude, once you get past the shock (by prudish people?) of naked flesh,it is an image created that is more than an erotic one.
