I like the picture for its composition and subject. Very well presented within the frame. The snow with the subject works very well. Best regards from dry Australia

Another great image of the International, I think you had fun with this old truck.

David, I just posted an image of an International S150 from Lillian's Boneyard, be sure to see it. I'm almost done with that series, only one left to show.

Thanks for viewing and commenting. I did get several good images out of this one relic. I have processed this one a bit more than the others just for a little variety. I thought it made a pretty good watercolor type image.

Shawn, I think you can relate to this even though you are not as guilty of it as I. But I got so many images that I like from the Montana trip, that I feel that I have become boring to everyone else, and I'm striving for something different to keep myself from being in a rut. I need to get out and do some new stuff even though I still have some Montana images that need to be explored.

Not only am I concerned about boring PN members with my Boneyard Series, I'm also getting just a little bored with it myself. I have one more image to post of the Montana Boneyard and then I WILL move on to something else closer to home. I say this even though I still have many, many images from Montana that are begging to be shown. I'll just sprinkle them in now-and-then along the way.

I am not bored or even getting tired of seeing your views of Montana, but YES please do get out locally and do some more walking. It will be good for you and your head.

I think you both "blossomed" photographically during your Montana rambles, I've been very pleased and impressed with the fine work you've both done.... I'm far from being bored with either of your "Big Sky" stories. This image is easily one of my top ten picks from your Montana posts David, excellent exposure on the snow and other details, wonderful abstract composition with great color renditions......and that "ain't no bull"!

Thanks. You are too kind. My greatest regret is I didn't get to meet you while I was there. No trip to Montana can be complete until getting to meet you.

I am a fan of reduced colour palette and crop as you already know...these are the main reason I like this one also...you might just try getting a bit more details on the snow by tuning down/decreasing the highlights (I am not sure it will be better but worth a try to get some texture on the bottom snow part)...thanks for sharing David.

I have had a lot of trouble with snow. It seems the only way I can get texture into it is to darken it to the point that I don't like it. I need to find a way to improve my ability with snow.
