the garage sale sign pointing at the cross is funny, in a way. Large red cloth for sale? I'm sure nobody would want to buy the burden of the cross. Yet we all carry one, in our own individual ways... BTW, I'm fascinated by the greenery and flowers. Up here it's still bleak, gray-brownish. Cheers, Micheal

The picture is meant as a humorous take on the mixture of our lives with the powerful symbol of religion against the backdrop of a beautiful foliage, and then the mundane of stop signs road signs and garage sale signs, all having a much different spiritual aura about them. Of course, no one liked it, looked at it, or commented upon it, except you. Of course I'm predjudiced since I made the image, but it seems strange to me that one will get lots of comments on ducks, dogs, tits, sunsets, etc., but not on something that requires a bit of thought. I don't know why that seems so remarkable to me, but it does.

actually, 74 people had a look at this photo, so far. That's pretty good. Consider taking a printed photo to work and showing it to 74 people = lots of showing. People go usually after the cute stuff. Cute stuff doesn't require thinking. Any robot can see cuteness and be enchanted by it. Some of your photos require some thinking. Thinking require energy. If some people are neurologically/energetically depleted, they are not going to stop and view photos that require more than just admiration of prettiness, because they can't think. For example, with this photo, as you pointed out, there are different ways how you can see, interpret this photo. This photo looks nice, but it's not pretty ducks or dogs. Cheers, Micheal
