laurent_jaussi 0 Posted March 28, 2007 :-) a fun shot...Ok it will not revolutionize the world of photography but like you if I pass by I just can't refrain from shooting such a nice old entrance with the little guy...it feels good...thanks for sharing Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted March 29, 2007 Your Idahome Flour image caught my eye so quickly that I didn't even notice this one. Very simple and very nice, the only distracting item is the shadow but even that adds to the image in itself. I like it! Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted March 29, 2007 Thanks. I've been a little disappointed in that this one simply seems to go unseen. I posted a very similar version earlier, but it had some problems with the curb, that I had done a very poor job of correcting, and so I reworked and put it back. I really like this kind of image, because to me it is such a curiosity. I mean, why the hell did someone put that figure there? What and who is it supposed to represent? Even if the hotel weren't closed, this would be kind of a tacky entrance wouldn't it? Well, I don't know, and I guess I'm not going to find out, and I guess not too many others on Pnet find it all that interesting. Oh well. Whew! What was that I was saying.....? Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted March 29, 2007 What ever the reasons, we'll never know why it was this way. BUT, you have proof that it happened! Link to comment
bjcarlton 0 Posted March 29, 2007 What are you, some kind of subversive? The very idea of suggesting Uncle Sam is living in such a tatty place! Link to comment
