I am humbled and honored (I think) that you would dedicate this magnificent image to me.

On another note, it is nice to see your late March photographic flurry. Sort of like Carlton on Pixalis.

Judging by the early ratings on this and the other two shots I submitted at the same time, I expect you (and Juan, if his head isn't frozen by now) are the only people around here with anything approaching a sense of humor.

I didn't have time to drive to Fresno today, so I had to settle for the aesthetic (there's that word again) equivalent.

Ok I give up.... whats the "P" stand for? and why is this dedicated to Dave...? because the sign is dead center? Jeez kidding! I have already thought of a few ways to P.S. this image....just say so! love the composition and the placement of the main element...what ever that may be....? This place reminds me of driving thru Fresno...on a nice day...juan

The P stands for "pulchritude," the first thing I think of when I see Dave's "Can you hear me now?" photo. Since Mr. Meyer isn't actually in the picture, the "P" is of course crossed off. Simple, no? I found the scene remarkable; I've never been to a place where anyone took the trouble to post signs indicating that Dave wasn't there.

Maybe you had time traveled like that Heston guy in the 'Planet of the Pulchritude' movie...? Having lived in Barstow, Ca. for two wonderful years...hot tar roofing....this reminds me of one of those old drive in theaters for the Pulchri-ites back in the old days...? or maybe Dave turned the sign upside down befor you got there...? it would then be clearly a 'd' with a line thru it... what do you think?
