This is seven/seven shot. If you have enough resolution you can try very tight crop, head and fish only. That would be another seven/seven shot.

Every time I see a stupid anonymous 3/3 My opinion of PN rating system goes a stage further down .. OOOPs there I go again.. Great moment captured here Dieter well done my friend... just as a PS .. I was on two evenings ago and there appeared to be 2 3/3ers taking great pleasure in rating EVERY single picture (not just mine) with 2 sets of 3 .. I deleted my submission to the critique forum and did not post any pictures that evening .. Rating system really need looking at but then we all know that... ~Peter~

Peter, I have seen the same thing many times on PN; sometimes the PN moderators catch it and the rates are removed later, sometimes they don't. If you catch them in time you can actually see how they move down the line in rate recent; stupid but I guess it beats them picking up guns and going postal.

great shot dieter! the colors are exellent as is the sharpness. It would have been great without the fish in there as well, so its a real bounus that you got it!

this is a unique catch I tack sharp focus , including the fish in the air , and his tongue out Very nice ,Thank you for stopping in and critiqing the black crowned night heron , I truly appreate it ,and will be back to review a lot more of your work ..
