Great shot. This is such a strong composition that it might be better presented without the frame and title. Looks like a good deal of patience paid off for you.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback.

To Patrick: yes, I was a bit doubtful too about the framing and the title. Probably I overdid it.

To Cherlyn: It was absolutely an incredible view. The colours came out in a minute as the sun had been hidden in the clouds for some hours. When I saw this I almost fainted!

Splendid shot, really mystic atmosphere and beautiful sun rays! I'm not an expert, it's obvious to see that, but from my small experience I could suggest a small technical trick for improving the landscape shots or any scene. It's the sharpening technique in small steps. You may apply unsharp mask with, lets say amount of 100 or more, but with small radius between 2 or 3. You could do that for 2 or more times and you will notice the difference. Not too spectacular results, but better. Here is an example attached.

Success and best wishes! Alin

Hi Alin, I see your point. Probably in the example you overdid it a bit (white borders around outlines), but it was OK to give me an idea. Soon I will post a new version of the same image applying the advices I received from you. Thanks a lot for participating.
