My thanks to you all. This was a shot that was just there, and I found a nice post to stabilize the camera. Sometimes when a scene appears, there isn't much to do but just press the shutter button.

I hope you print this & put it on your wall Doug. That's a perfect composition & the color is very natural. I see a bunch of small cedars in the foreground which adds to the balance in my opinion. Doug, this is really a good one.

Every time I come here I see something that I really like. I would hang this in my house, it is such a fine, imaginative, moody piece.

I thought I had left a comment on this one, before leaving one on your full portfolio, but I guess I did sthg wrong. Anyway, I really like this, and agree with the person who said the would hang it on their wall. The brown of the chimney versus the softer veins of the tree...and the colours are just out of this world. So beautiful, the whole thing.
