I like that glutinous inky black - like there's been an oil spill - and that cyclist heading straight for us. I can almost hear his tyres squelching over the wet cobbles. Nice depth and atmosphere.

I bask in this nocturnal adventure by proxy: the striped-shirted kid, hands tucked in pockets, an unassuming couple on the left, of course the lone cyclist, coming from...? heading towards...? and, what's beyond the gentle, cobblestoned rise in the road. I really like this photo.

Wow Peter, THIS is wonderful! I love the "gritty" atmosphere of the night and rain, and street. You captured well the feeling that at one time or another in life....everyone experiences. Or at least should!
