My man, you are on a roll lately. This is delicious. I love the pink hat, red jacket, reddish brick, pinkish benches. It all ties together so perfectly, and then you have, of course, got that geometric thing going with all kinds of lines. This one is just wonderful. Not that it matters, but was it staged?

thanks for your comment. My daugther was playing and hiding behind the tree which gave me the idea...then I asked her to stay a bit more to shoot it, so yes the final shot is stagged.

I have already told how much I like this image, and have rated it as highly as possible, so forgive me for toying with it. As you know I am not as subtle as many (or as I should be), but I could not help juicing up the colors.

Thanks David for your appreciation and encouragments. Thanks for the try on colors but I think you went a bit too far on saturation (this is my taste)....although I think your proposal is flashy and really put even more accent on the banks, floor lines and kid.

Hello Laurent. An interesting image with all this pink and the nice graphics. I would prefer it a bit clearer (level adjustment) and a tiny bit more contrasty, although not as hard as was proposed before.

I knew that my changes would probably be too much. Having seen a fair amount of your work, it is fair to say that you are a person who appreciates subtlety. I just couldn't help it because of the pink and red tones. As I said, I love yours just the way it is. Cheers.

Don't worry David, it's me to thank you for your interest...I think of myself of being in the learning mode and will always be in such mode...so trying different approaches and playing with images (crop, saturate, BW, etc....) is something I do all the time...you can learn only in experimenting...and I really appreciate people doing it...Following yours and Karina's comment I uploaded a brighter and more contrasted version

Laurent, I did not see the previous version, but it is a nice iamge because of the accentuated warm colors on the grey surrounding. Many graphical ellements and the little human daughter hiding a bit is very nice. Well observed the opportunity and her colaboration ;-)).

Love the tree right smack dab in the center of the frame. It's the element that sets up the whole picture, the conductor of the composition, revealing by obscuring ever so slightly. Great pictures, Laurent. Looking forward to more great work in the new year. Regards, Jack

This is neat. The colours, both natural and the cloting, just work !

Personnally I would crop the top part where we see the building, but this still works.

I wouldn't boost the colours as sombody else suggested, I like the "pastel" effect here.

Thanks Yves for your comments and suggestions...I already corrected the initial post (contrast and color) and replaced it...cropping the upper part could be an option which made me think for a while but since it is pink with matching colorsI thought (for good or bad) of leaving it as is.

And that is absolutely the way it should be. The pink in the building adds to the visual irony of the picture. Had it not been the color that it is, the gentleman might have had a point.

I'm very late to the party but better late than never! You couldn't have had better coordinating players if you tried! The pink benches with the pink hat and red coat, the peach bricks; the tree centered and dancing with the black pole. Very good eye, well done and seen. Thank you for sharing. :)
