yianni 0 Posted November 29, 2006 lovely and original photo. I would crop the legs and intensify the colors and the contrast a little. Like this: Regards, Yianni Link to comment

bosshogg 4 Posted November 30, 2006 Nice work. By inverting what most of us would have done, you have taken it to a whole other realm. I disagree with the gentleman that suggested a change. I think your original is far better. Keep up the good work. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted November 30, 2006 Thanks Yianni, Jitka, Yavuz and David for your interest and nice comments....David I inverted this one to have the blue sky above as I thought it would have more impact, also suggested to me by Alex Bieth on a former post (but in fact there are lots of very interesting photo inverted here on PN and eslewhere). laurentlacoste 0 Posted December 3, 2006 I like your original better laurent. It's a shame to take the colours off this one, they're beautiful. A perfect picture, very evocative and dream-like. You're flyin' real high! Link to comment
alexb_paris 0 Posted December 3, 2006 yes me too. I was just curious to see what it would look like in B&W and a different crop, it's a really nice picture, great shadow and colors. I find the yellow lines a bit distracting though, but that's only a minor detail.. Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Hi Alex! just kidding! A way of saying I liked Laurent's colours on this one ( the two yellow stripes too, a great addition to me). Cheers! Link to comment
ester 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Your photo is beautiful Laurent. I love how its so unexpected. A real jolt to the senses. I love its originality. Well done. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted December 4, 2006 Amal, Lesa, Jack, Laurent, Ester...for your nice comments and interest... Alex thanks for your proposal...in fact I like discussions and on-going work (most times more than the final result)...I tried as you have done different crops and BW and so on...but to me the blue sky is important on this one, otherwise I have to change the title...:-)...in fact the blue is what caught my eyes first in what was essentially a monochrome image from the start (beside those yellow stripes)...I first did a shot with nobody, then waited for people to pass, sometimes a group, sometimes a lady, sometimes a man, sometimes too much on the left, sometimes too much on the right...then this lady came for the reflection to be interesting...I spent about 30 minutes in this area...it was worth it and I enjoyed it very much...I upload the original below just to share....regards, Laurent.
