colin carron 58,916 Posted January 1, 2007 A fine study and one to add to your collection documenting these places. B&W works well. Link to comment
misterken 0 Posted January 1, 2007 I'm thinking that the next time you visit the Leaning House you may not be able to get this photo! Mister Ken Link to comment
journeytoserenity 0 Posted March 28, 2007 I spend hours each day just driving and looking for buildings just like this one to photograph. Taking pictures of abandoned dwellings/old buildings and the like is my favorite thing to do. I don't have many up yet...and am working on a website of my own. Just wanted to let you know that I really like!! Link to comment

bosshogg 4 Posted September 27, 2007 What a great find. I like your tones. I'm really tired tonight and my eyes are hurting, but I perceive a bit of softness in the image. Still very nice. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted September 27, 2007 Thanks, David. Perhaps looking at the larger version can help one make that evaluation. My own analysis is that the low contrast and low sharpening did contribute to a very flat look, but higher contrast took away from the natural look of the wood on the larger file, in my opinion. This was shot in the shade at midday, although a small cumulus cloud might have given a moment's relief from harsh shadows. --Lannie Link to comment
