dberryhill 3 Posted November 19, 2006 Dave, I thought for a moment you'd been down South taking pictures. But then I noticed there weren't any beer cans. Still, I like this. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 19, 2006 Thanks. So you think it has kind of a redneck look to it? Link to comment

juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted November 20, 2006 At first I was a little offended by the title....This image was taken west of the divide...Having mucho Latino Pride this really should be a Mexican Boat Hauler....but then I realized that this world we live in is jeez a big ole pot...melting cultures from all over the world...Our Oakie brothers and sisters have the same pride as well...we make due with what ever we have...if this was my front yard I would be proud to say that I have..a car...a boat...and a truck...! In these times of global Kaos...we need to remember that we are all from the same place...Planet earth...I commend you David on bringing this fact along with this image to remind us....our priorities in life are all the same.....I was wondering did you meter off the primer and put it in zone 5? the xposure is perfect! as is the composition.....! Although for me the converging lines of the classic car and the boat are just a tad distracting....The almost cobalt blue sky is awesome...the only thing missing is dog guarding this treasure....nice job! Juan...WVMM Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted November 20, 2006 Welcome back from Billings. Hope you had a good weekend. I kind of worried that the Oklahomans might take offense, but so far nobody has yelled at me. Of couse, where I live, in Steinbeck country, there is a tremendous Okie influence, so we use the term even in polite society. Whatever works in this photo, is the result of Nikon 200 technology. I will only take credit for having a feeling that this was interesting and pointing the camera. This was taken at Wells Used Cars, from which I have posted several photos. Cool place. Link to comment
