Old Truck in Red Rock Country

This old truck is a relic from the '50's uranium mining era in the San

Rafael Swell of Utah. On the near-by hillsides are little exploration

or mining holes. I'm told that most of these uranium miners died an

early death from exposure to the radioactive rocks they moiled among.

I may challenge the position of the truck, would it be better more to the right allowing for a sense of potential to the left? Also was any thought given to landscape orientation vs. portrait? Interesting.

Dave, thanks for the comments. I do have a landscape oriented version of this, but it required less of the blue sky and clouds. A trade off I guess.

Tough call, the blue is a great balance for the browns and yellows, maybe a lower angle, almost on the ground may give enough sky and stretch the horizon?
