bosshogg 4 Posted October 22, 2006 I photographed this roadside monument last year (http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=4455640), and now revisit to find that it has been completely redone, with the exception of the election sign, which is now a bit worse for wear. Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted October 23, 2006 I love it when people go back and shoot again what caught their eye the first time...I liked the original...and I like this one...next time may I suggest shooting it in a little more interesting light...the contrast says a ton about the realestate values of your area...the need to post political signs anywhere possible...but early or later light might make this more dramatic...I like that the stop sign is in the frame...the arrow at the top says if you don't stop thats where you'll end up? One last thing...full shadows of the cross and flowers would be interesting too....so glad you go back reshoot...to me if it was worth it the first time probably worth it again...WVM Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted October 23, 2006 What would I do without my little photographic mother hen? You are right about the contrast, and I know I could count on you to notice the stop sign with the arrow. I have other tighter shots that do not have the sign in it, but I loved the sign with the arrow pointing upward. It seemed to fit right into the picture. I doubt that anybody took the time to examine things that closely. But you, Wildman, do not let anything slip by you. Thanks for checking it out. Link to comment
