dberryhill 3 Posted October 22, 2006 Dave, I really like this. He looks to me like a bright, energetic man, and the pose is very natural, very unposed. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted October 22, 2006 It certainly was unposed. I just got myself a new toy (D200) and walked into my friend's office to show it to him. He wasn't there, but the back door was open, so I walked back and he was doing some chore with his back turned to me, so he did not see me. I brought my camera up, and braced myself in his doorway and waited. Before long he turned around and I snapped. Then I processed it a bit, trying to make it look a bit more like a watercolor. I have been wanting to do portraits, because I really think they are a special form of photography that requires a particular set of skills, and it is an area that I have never been very good at. So, I hope to be doing a few more portraits in the future. I may be old, but I figure I can still learn a thing or two. Link to comment
bosshogg 4 Posted January 14, 2007 Well into his eighties, he's got more energy than most people thiry years younger. Link to comment
