Wonderful shot! Hard to believe you could take such a wonderful shot of yourself! The only thing I might change is to crop a bit more off the left side.....that large an area of light draws my eyes away from the rest too much.

Nice lighting and pose... one of the better male nudes I've seen on this site. Well done.

Always difficult to get an image of yourself like this, and you're very brave for doing it.

The lighting is excellent and the pose shows your musculature nicely - an overall well balanced image. Perhaps raising the upper crop to remove the hard edge across your forehead - more a personal preference than a critique !

I am very impressed with this self-portrait David. I find it's hard to photograph a male model who can portrait both masculinity and sensuality. You've done a great job in this one. Very inspirational work. Congrad,

I would like to thank everyone for their kind comments. It's not easy being in front of the lens, I much prefer being behind it ... it's far easier to focus, for one thing. David :)

 

Hi David, this is a wonderful B&W shot! As was said above, I think it would be very hard to get a selfportrait of this caliber (I wouldn't even try). Both light and composition are beautiful. Thanks!
