Marital Dispute

This is a composite of two pictures I took this afternoon through a

closed window. The background is a yard full of snow.

I gave it a 7/7 before I read your note about it being a composite. Not sure I would have given the 7/7 had I known that but either way, it communicates a lot and the title is wonderful.

Oooohhh. !!!

It comes out with a great picture, but only rated it low because there wasn't an indication of a fusion of two pictures in the title. I felt cheated. I felt like I was set-up, just like watching a biased perspective on the evening news.

Wes - Right below the title in my request for critique I stated this was a composite, and did so immediately after uploading. I'm not going to put "this is a compostite" in the title...gimme a break. A great deal of people wouldn't have gone as far as I did in admitting UP FRONT SO AS NOT TO MAKE PEOPLE FEEL CHEATED, that this was a composite. Now I kind of wish I would've waited 3 days to say the truth about the image, just to see how cheated you would've really felt.

Not all people who rate pictures here get to see the comments. You have a lot of superb photos in your portfolio. My comment probably expressed more my view of fusing things in a bird/nature/natural area. I just believe this sets your photo into the category of Digital Alteration not Birds.

Thanks for the reply, Wes. I understand completely now. I wasn't thinking about how going through the list to rate anonymously, nothing is shown but the picture and title.

No problem Scott. I have the same snow in my OKC back yard and possibly the same set of cardinals. It gave me a bit of time to relax with Photoshop!

Very very nice.  I don't really mind that it's a composition. It's not worse than stretching up in photoshop the color, the tone, HDR or what else.
