Going to Ground

I would appreciate any comments from you.

This is a fine shot, Brendan. The close foreground is good and I like how the branch frames the misty trees in the background. Perhaps the 50/50 split isn't ideal - I think I might have gone closer to the tree and lost some of the foreground. Great colours. Very atmospheric..

Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it! I am also uncomfortable with the 50% split and I think that was the main reason that I chose it originally. I liked the tension I felt it created and that it went against the normal compositional rules to some extent.
