Perfection

Longtails spend most of the year out on the Sargasso Sea but around

spring they come into Bermuda to nest in the cliffs. Not being used

to the land, it always takes them a few goes to get into their burrow

everytime they want to land! This one was backlit against the cliffs.

I am not a big fan of animal pictures (or flowers), as I believe they do not take much imagination to produce. But I have to say this is one of the best I have ever seen. The lighting is perfect and the black background could not be better in a studio. I commend you for this photo. Bravo!

good capture. The simplicity of the photo is its main attraction for me. Good composition. The bit of motion trail on the tail of the bird, against the black, makes the shot more interesting, more dynamic.

If it was in black and white it would look like an old chinese ink painting.
