eric_konieczny 0 Posted December 31, 2004 I like the composition and idea. They do look quite happy. Not sure if it was the flash or just a happy child, but the eyes look "too" open, kinda like a "deer in headlights" But overall very pleasing. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted December 31, 2004 Sweet and a fitting end to 2004, Howard. You are the master of candids, I do believe. Happy New Year! Link to comment

wilsontsoi 0 Posted January 1, 2005 Happy new year likewise, Howard. Nice, even illumination, natural expressions, and good composition. The only improvement I can think of is more prominent catch light in the lady's eyes. Well done. ^_^ Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted January 2, 2005 One of your best high-key images yet, Howard!! I love the expressions and the EYES!! You've also captured great detail in the woman's hair. Great!! (Is this Jayme's daughter and Ty?) :-D Link to comment

jayme 0 Posted January 5, 2005 Howard- sorry I issed this one. This is so cute and wonderful. It gives me a warm feeling. You are so talented at capturing "essence" and this is pure essence. Super! Link to comment
Phil_Light 793 Posted January 6, 2005 Just a couple of minor issues which I'm sure were totally out of your control? Another viewer commented that the baby does look a bit like a deer in the headlights and mom appears a bit contrived. Not unlike my portrait of mother and child in color. Same sort of issues come up when you're working this close. Link to comment
