This is a very strong photo, compositionally. The vanishing point of the clouds and the ice in the foreground offer so much depth. The brown, blue, and white colors capture the season too. Nice work.

Outstanding. I've come back to this one, now, about three times. With the stronger highlights of the mountain and grass falling on the same side, it does seem a bit wieghted to the right.

The foreground ice with its strong animal head shape, eyes and open jaws, feels too strong in this composition to harmonise with the dynamic mountain. Both seem to competing for attention. If I blank off most of the animal shaped ice, I ger a much more balanced pic. Stunning film colors. Super exposure, perspective and camera posn.

Fabulous Brian, those clouds radiating from the mountain and the patch of ice in the foreground with it's central yellow stripe of the reed bed. Superb composition and stunning use of complementary colour. Can't wait to see some more.
