angel_pena 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Guys...this is texture explained by Robert Farnham. Thanks for the extra look. Keeps me thinking... "Gee this is reality" Link to comment
g2imaging 0 Posted November 2, 2004 How did you light this? Was it cross light from her right? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 2, 2004 Interesting and unusual POV. I'm not sure how I feel about it though, it has a strange "other" world kind of feel to it. Link to comment
robertfarnham 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Lit with a 3x5 ft softbox behind her (from my perspective...beside her from hers) and turned away so, in essence, it was a strip light. Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted November 2, 2004 I'm glad the hand is gone, but I preferred the earlier one with only one breast. Given the crop, the two breasts here look like pumps or knobs. The first picture minus the hand would be an ideal study of shapes and textures. Maybe headlights, I don't know. This one doesn't leave enough to the imagination. Link to comment
d_price 0 Posted November 2, 2004 I like it. My only gripe is teh one nipple. Possibly framing the shot so that neither of the nipples show. Nice shot though. Link to comment
beepy 0 Posted November 2, 2004 This is a very interesting shot to me. It is both erotic (obviously) and clinical (sharp focus and details). Well done lighting, and modeling of light on model. Cool. Link to comment
gooseberry 0 Posted November 2, 2004 Agree with D Price: cropping just a tiny bit from the top to eliminate model's right nipple would improve the impact the image makes (would also make it even more abstract). How do you like the alternative 'no-nipple' version above? Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted November 2, 2004 I like the idea of having one nipple in this shot. I just wish it wasn't so tight at the top of the frame. A very interesting shot to say the least. Well done. Link to comment
robertfarnham 0 Posted November 2, 2004 I considered cropping out the nipple but left it in to provide a touch more grounding for the viewer on what they're seeing. It's not noticable from a distance, which is how I'd like people to intially view this photo before moving in closer. Thanks for all your comments. It's very encouraging for me. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted November 2, 2004 Just to comment here on your recent shot, the 2 breasted one, I think you did a superb job. I personally like the negative space you left in on the left, and the nipple issue can be seen from both sides. There is something to leaving it in, but also to not. Its a hard, no pun intended, choice. I would say that if the nipple is cropped out, that the navel is left in. And the negative space on the left. Keep up the good work. jonpainter 0 Posted November 3, 2004 I actually like this one a bit more than the last "one breast and hand" photo. The lighting is quite nice, and I love the detail in the light hairs and goosebumps that show up. Nice work. jon Link to comment
paul_sokal___dallas__tx 0 Posted November 14, 2004 Needs the left nipple IMHO, but good shot overall Link to comment
fotoguy1 0 Posted January 27, 2006 Beautiful shot! I have to agree that I would prefer the nipple cropped out. The lighting is perfect. All of your photos are great! Thanks! Link to comment
