Flower covered forest floor

I like the photo. It is well composed and good colors. To me, it looks like it has been over sharpened, leaving white halos around some of the details.

Something I discovered about sharpening is if you convert the photo to lab color, then sharpen the lightness channel and put a gaussian blur on the a & b channel of about 2-3 (whatever it takes to soften completly) then transform it back to RGB, you don't get as many halos. See if that helps. Works sometimes, sometimes not.
