I like the black-and-white look of this color photo, but I think the figure and the house in the distance (if that's what it is) detracts from this photo. If you can, try to crop it or reshoot it. There is a wonderful photo in here somewhere. -Alan

This image is unmanipulated because I tried to add as you say more colors to brighten the red of the person but this give a little more noise to this photo especially to the snow. Thank for the information.

Gaetan, another very good photo, I think the trees are very well positioned. They create two lines of depth which makes the photo interesting. I am unsure about the person, the splash of red is nice and so is the perspective, however the photo would stand very well on its own without the person. Good Work.
