mickeysimpson 2,940 Posted August 29, 2021 Very nice Michael! Sharp, good color, depth, and the rain on the windshield tops it off. Makes me want to turn on the windshield wipers LOL. Link to comment
DGorinstein 20 Posted August 30, 2021 Wow Michael: I was immediately drawn to this "apparently" an everyday one. However, your very careful composition turns it into a captivating image, taking the attention of the viewer away from the cars and emphasizing so adroitly the heavy rain. For me it is a picture, and a great one by the way, of "rain", as simple as that. I haven't seen many that so precisely focus and capture a natural phenomenon. What I am trying to say is that yes, I have seen many images of trees, forests, flowers with drops, but for me, your image captures the essence of "rain", and THAT is a wonderful perception. Bravo! vincentoiseau 83 Posted August 31, 2021 Hi Michael, I think I saw this photo before in B&W and commented on it, but I must say it has a lot of mood in color. Somehow the color adds depth to the photo; the head- and tail lights of the cars , the road sign and the line on the left side of the lanes seem to be intensified by their colors. Maybe it's because of how the colors looked at that particular moment, maybe you added some saturation in PP. Anyway, very nice! Kind regards, Vincent Link to comment

michaellinder 16,612 Posted September 1, 2021 Vincent, I must confess - guilty as caged. I did add some saturation to the car lights. Thanks, as always, for your astute remarks. - - My best aways, michael Link to comment
