Auschwitz was the largest of the nazi concentration camps. Aside from its complex design and myriad of facilities, more human beings were killed there than any other concentration camp. Over one million and one hundred persons lost their lives in order to contribute to the effort of cleansing Europe of the cultures and races the nazis believed to be inferior. The nazis referred to themselves as Aryan and their archetype of an Aryan was someone with with blond hair and blue eyes. Ironically, the Aryans were people who lived many years in southern Iran and northern India and are dark-skinned with brown eyes.

The Nazis had industrialized the whole process of killing people. State organized evilness based on a lie. Good presentation. Take care.

George and Arthur, I am grateful for the time you took to view and respond to this image. I was almost in tears while I was doing the post work, but I felt that the image could evoke what I hoped it would. - - My best always, michael
