Interesting unusual Fireflies image, Michael! Gives the impression of movement and some kind of interaction in three-dimensional space. Curious what was the inspiration for you? Original and beautifully done, Bravo! Sincerely, Tatiana

Michael,

I like the idea of semi symmetrical image. Love especially the left portion of the image (fireflies!)

Additional layers of this already intriguing photo bring more attention to fascinating vision of the surroundings.

Good abstract and very your style!

Congrats!

Hi Michael,

I'm rarely at a loss for words to at least describe what I see, but there's just too much visual stimulus in this genius abstract puzzle to be able to do that. You have gone all out on this one. Please take the time to describe the way you work with photos to develop these wonderful images; not giving away the chef's recipe, but taking us on a trip through your workflow in general. I would really like that. Kind regards, Vincent

Pierre, be careful with your use of "masterpiece," lest I get a swelled head. I'm very grateful. - - My best always, michael

Tatiana, I really didn't have any inspiration at the beginning of my post work. The title came after I had completed it, and it was somewhat spontaneous. As always, I am grateful for your feedback and your support. - - My best always, michael

Many thanks, ZT. My composing abstracts quite often avoids full symmetry; I'm glad you picked up on it in this case. - - My best always, mhl

"genius abstract puzzle" - - - Vincent, this phrase threw me fora loop. I can't begin to thank you enough. In response to your request, I really don't have a workflow (in general). However, there are several techniques I use often: compositing, selective sharpness and/or blur, color modification, inversion, etc. I use Photoshop Elements 2020 and the NIK bundle (primarily Color Efex and Analog Efex). - - My best always, michael
