my first impression of this image is an aerial map of some part of the Amazon delta, not unlike GG's comments. We almost automatically connect with an image based on what we know and are familiar with. I don't have the slightest idea what it is you photograped. It is, however, an intriguing image. Vincent, I am grateful for your kind words; they fit your usual M.O. of being authentic. Indeed, I shot the photograph at several thousand feet while flight back to Fort Lauderdale was beginning its descent. The plane's glide path had it heading eastbound over the Everglades. Ultimately, after I downloaded the phot, I noticed it was somewhat out of focus. So my subsequent effort was to transform a show's ear into a silk purse. I'm so glad the image held your attention. - - My best always, michael
