a-mazing!!

What is really amazing about this image is that I would spend hours in the darkroom trying to get the details in the white dress while holding the shadow open at his feet. The dodging and burning never worked well enough. Then, after many years, I scanned the B/W negative on my Epson scanner. All the various tones fell into place for a perfect print. Thank you Giangiorgio. This is one of my favorites for the puzzled look on the face of the woman observer to the happy accident of the star reflections from the tuning keys. I had this photo on display on Haight St in San Francisco when the subject of the photo walked in years after he had stopped busking.
