Thanks Bill! Nothing like being lucky since the water is very shallow on this pond and I was there to shoot Black-necked Stilt. The Skimmers came by and gave it a try briefly there ... I am so lucky to be in the right place at the right time in great lighting. Good to hear from you!

All wildlife photogs need a certain amount of luck, but I firmly believe you make your own luck too. If you are not prepared when luck passes by it won't do you a damn bit of good!

It's true what you sum up there Bill! I get a lot of shots (in general) because I shoot handheld and very mobile ... such that within 1 second I can be ready
