ghosts & near ghosts Abandoned Railway Station

I am astounded when the tonal value array, and the lines and elements of an image are brought together so perfectly. I don't know how to apportion my appreciation for the genius of the artist, the blessings from the Gods, and pure luck. Brilliant work, Philip.

@Wayne- Thanks for the over and above commentary. I think I have found the right work-flow for these sorts of Black and White images. Interestingly enough they are better when it is primarily shadow detail that gets brought ought. Middle values and brighter tones don't seem to benefit by the same treatment. And in one case the in-camera HDR was the best treatment (see: https://www.photo.net/photo/18587258). But I don't normally like what software HDR results in. But thanks again for such kind words. It makes it fun to get a response such as yours.

BTW- This not an HDR treatment.
