Nandu

although I have no idea what "Nandu" means, this doesn't keep me from being fascinated by this image. Quite honestly, I've never seen a low key photo of (what I take to be) an ostrich, much less a monochrome one. Franz, this is highly superior work; you've covered all the bases. - - My best, michael

I agree with Michael; as a bird enthusiast I know what a nandu is, but this picture is strangely attractive, lending the bird an almost eerie quality. If this were my photo, I would have considered a square crop, but that's just a matter of taste. Wonderful! Kind regards, Vincent
