Bees on a caper, Nikon D300s, Sigma macro 105mm, f/13, 1/250sec, ISO 250. (the buds of the capers flowers are widely used both in salt and in vinegar in the Mediterranean cuisine). Thanks for your comments

Congratulations. Everything is just all right. The well-captureed scene, the colors, the sharpness all contribute to a pleasing impression. Complimenti, ciao, Sandor

Giangiorgio, this series is nothing short of magnificent. I selected this one for comment somewhat arbitrarily.. Aside from your mastery of bird photos, you are equally gifted doing macros. The detail of the entire image is razor sharp, and you succeeded in captured the movement of the bees' wings, not exactly an easy task. The colors are vivid enough almost to leap off my screen, but not oversaturated. And, finally, the composition and POV are spot on. A favorite! - - My best always, michael - - - Ciao!

Wonderful clarity and colors! According to the EXIF info this has been taken with an 800 mm!? Really?

Hi Giangiorgio,

you are a capable photographer from both far away and very near! Nice to see this beautiful macro. I like the way you captured the bees hovering over the flower. Very nice! Kind regards, Vincent

Magical is a word that's over-used but it's the one that is absolutely appropriate for pictures such as this. I hear the Flight of the Bumblebee in my ears.

Thanks Philip for you appreciated comment. In the description of the photo I reported the real shooting values, those shown in the Exif data refer to the data I used in the frame taken from an old photo that I am using normally and that is always mistakenly reported
