Hi Mark,

beautiful photo of your city! I love the deep colors and the long focal length-approach, as well as the clarity in the details. Kind regards, Vincent

Seldom I have seen such a perfect city perspective deserted, devoid of humans and dogs, and cars (by a marvelous bac-lights of but one car). A very special example of what city-perspective shots should be. Much to learn, and much to congratulate. DG

Hi Daniel, thanks so much. It took a little patience to get a clean shot, it was early in the morning while most of the city was still sleeping and the traffic was very light with an occasional car, bus or pedestrian. I woke while it was still dark and made my way across the city and climbed the stair of the art museum at the break of dawn.

They say the early bird gets the worm and the early photographer gets the shot. Cheers - Mark

Hi Vincent. Thanks for commenting. The perspective and the morning Golden Hour did seem the capture the city in a pleasent light. When I awoke early in the dark something inspired me with the notion to make the 26 mile trek into the city and climb the grand step of the Philadelphia Museum of Art to capture this scene looking to city hall. I am delighted how this image turned out and this was worth the time and effort. I can't help but think there was a lot of thought and planning into the placement of the elements of the city down to the details as to where the statues are looking. Even William Penn on top of City Hall looks over the city, but I will leave the hidden meanings to architects and Masons.
