Firstly, congratulation on having been selected for the Editors' Picks. A strange process went through my mind in evaluating your photograph. In all honesty, I have seen it several times, watched it carefully and passed on without any comment. It has been a couple of days, and the image is still fresh in my mind, so I discovered (internally) that there was something special in it, and not derived for having been chosen by the Editors. It is a special quality of the color, quite unique, and I would guess it derives from not only a masterful post-processing, but also from an infrared capture (only guessing). Be it as it may, I am now at ease at congratulating you. It is amazing. No matter how long you are involved in photography, there is always something to learn, admired and be awed by it. DG
