Ha ha....love it. I'm fond of images that show or depict relationships between people, animals, ...anything. And I admire the vision, (or imagination, ... whatever) to find or invent the story.

Jack, someone could read a lot of things into this photo, some of them even x-rated, so I guess I'll just have to leave my comments at that. I think I love this photo! Best regards Patrick

In many cases, it takes a lot of work to create humor. For example, I have no doubt that I stink at telling jokes. Even professional comics bomb sometimes. But, Jack, you almost made me fall off my chair when I read the title. Aside from apparently the spring and the stuff at the left being potential life partners, the title matches perfectly. I'm guessing the beige wrapper and the other objects in the barrel comprise the wedding party. Most definitely a favorite! (No further insults by means of an 'admire')

Perhaps the only one with a chance to escape, by jumping the confinement in which the main subject is leaving behind all of his less-endowed companions. The rust is captured so beautifully here, and your ability to transform this rust, product of much Time passing by, into something living, bright color that despite the inactivity, has the flexibility to dare go into another world, only to find that just in front of it one sees more restraint in the form of something to hold together. Your photography is always special, enigmatic, challenging, imaginative, drawing interpretations from Jung's well-studied projections from the subconscious. You froze Time just in the nick of the moment: will he jump? Into the unknown? Thank you for sharing your POV of so many aspects of daily, showing us your magic of how you transform the static to the dynamic. With another bow of respect, I humbly congratulate you for this out-of-the-ordinary photograph (.....well.....yet another one....he he he). All the best. DG

Hi Jack,

the title is very determinative for this photo; it provokes many comments that 'follow' the story of a connection between the rusty spring and the blades of grass bound together at the left. But it's not the title that convinces the viewer, it's the crop, the small piece of the world that you selected to photograph. The inconspicuous is almost monumental here. I love the color richness of the rust. Kind regards, Vincent

“Love hides in the strangest places.

Love hides in familiar faces.

Love comes when you least expect it.

Love hides in narrow corners.

Love comes to those who seek it.

Love hides inside the rainbow.

Love hides in molecular structures.

Love is the answer.”
