The Protector

She (?) is almost like a guardian of the dungeon, looking straight on. I wouldn't dare enter.

With the passage of time, or one could put it differently.....with experience, I find myself immediately drawn by "certain" photographs that have that "je-ne-se-quoi" characteristic, trait, personality, impact, magnet....well "je ne se quoi", but the thumbnail could be no one else's but Mr. Macritchie's. Stopped in my tracks. Before opening it, I made a mental bet that it was yours, to prove to myself that your photography has all of that...and yet some. Composition wise, it is masterful, and I say this with respect and humbleness. To leave the dark left side and the cement figures on the right, make the figurine stand out so vividly, clearly, as if saying something. Metaphorically (and a bit jokingly, but not much) I even put my ear closer to the screen in case the figure was making some kind of noise. DG
