michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 24, 2018 Jenny, I have to make a confession regarding your possible doubt whether you commented on an actual photograph. When I initially review photos I've recently taken, I usually discard the ones that are really bad. However, occasionally I may save one because I think it may have potential as an abstract. This photo started as a conventional, representational photo. Sadly I don't recall what it was I shot. Link to comment
Supriyo 6,008 Posted December 28, 2018 Wonderful colors! I don’t know how you did it, but the outcome certainly resonates with me. Often time, I am too engrossed in BW, so occasionally it helps to refresh the eyes with a color ‘party’ like this one. The galaxy like shapes are strewn across what I can only imagine as the fabric of space-time. There are black holes too, and those ripples... gravitational waves? I like the invitation to get lost in the ‘singularity’ in the center. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted December 28, 2018 Supriyo, I seriously get the feeling, after reading your thoughtful comments, that I need to start documenting the steps I take to create abstracts like this. Noticing black holes, gravitational waves, and a singularity places you way above the curve. I'm very grateful. - - michael Link to comment
